In 2017 Doug Frederick left a successful career that spanned over 15 years in finance, five years in healthcare and founded HealthCues. It took over 18 months to put the program together the right way, with the right vendors, and the proper support. HealthCues is a group healthcare management platform that is ensuring people with the greatest health care needs get access to the disease prevention programs they need. HealthCues focuses on prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, and treatment of chronic illnesses, providing people with additional health services beyond their primary insurance. “We want to automate common sense when it comes to health,” says Doug.

There are three ways to fight chronic disease; prevention, early diagnosis, and effective treatment. HealthCues is about prevention. We work with employees to get them health risks assessments, biometric screenings, work with physicians, health coaches and more. If a diagnosis is made, they work to get that person treatment. HealthCues helps people make informed health choices by providing health education. HealthCues also includes a Limited Benefit Hospitalization Plan to help employees with out-of-pocket cost due to Hospitalizations, ambulatory and emergency room services. A Minimum Essential Coverage Plan (MEC Plan) is also available, if requested.
